Walt Disney Students Make Significant Gains on 2026 IREAD Achieving 94.4% Pass Rate

Walt Disney Elementary students made significant gains in reading proficiency on the 2026 IREAD assessment, achieving a 94.4% passing rate. The Title I school's passing rate increased 8.2 percentage points in just one year, climbing from 86.2% in 2025 to 94.4% in 2026. MISHAWAKA, IN —With the Indiana Department of Education’s release Tuesday, August 11 of 2026 IREAD-3 results, Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation Superintendent Dr. Heather Short is proud to share that 94.7% of P-H-M students passed IREAD.
